Formenta’s counterweights are connected to the bottom of the flag on all flagpoles models using internal halyards (ISS and ISS Exclusive) and also flagpoles using the Roto-Top system.

This counterweight is available in three different sizes: Lightweight (for flagpoles up to 9 m); Middleweight (10–12 m) and Heavyweight (14–18 m). The weight tightens and eases lowering the flag.
